St Stephens Church, Norwich

Masonry restoration to the North Tower including replacement of badly eroded stones on stringcourses and buttress. INDENT REPAIRS AND POINTING ALL CARRIED OUT AT UPPER LEVELS.

Brief History of Building: This Medieval Grade 1 Church has stood on this site for nearly 900 years and is close to a busy city centre route. The Tower made of knapped flint and white stone is its dominating & distinguishing feature and forms an upward extension of the North Porch forming the main entrance. The churchyard on the south borders the new Chapelfield shopping development.
